The Free Hugs Campaign is a phenomenon which involves individuals who offer hugs to strangers in public settings. It began in June, 2004, and was widely publicized in 2006 by a music video on YouTube that was filmed and produced by the australian band Sick Puppies.
The campaign is an example of a random act of
kindness, a selfless act performed by a person for the sole reason of making
others feel better. The original organizer has stated in interviews that the
purpose is not to get names, phone numbers, or dates. Free hugs
is, although never claimed as such, an incarnation of the story told in a book
by Claude Steiner "A Warm Fuzzy Tale". The story itself is an introduction to key concepts of transactional analysis (AT). Free hugs may be perceived, but are not always delivered, nor received as unconditional positive strokes.
I'm a supporter of the Free Hugs Campaign. I believe that people nowadays needs to be hugged more.
I wanna be hugged. =\

Am i all alone in this universe?
There's no love on these streets.
I've given mine away to a world that didn't want it anyway.
